Use this guide to resolve School Census Error 230

Error 230;

• DfE Validation: <LowestNCyear>  must be less than or equal to <HighestNCyear>
  • For special schools, NCYearGroup of “X” is permitted only if it is both the highest and lowest NC Year Group
  • For non-special schools, NCYearGroup ‘X’ is not permitted
• Explanation : Go to Config>Administration>Characteristics and check the NC Range from and to values. Save.
  • For non special schools the NC from number must be less than or equal to the NC to number this also cannot be X.
  • For Special Schools you can only set this to “X” if both your highest and lowest NC Year Group are set to “X”
