School Census Error 1496

Use this guide to resolve School Census Error 1496

Error 1496:

  • DfE Validation: There should be at least one <PupilNoLongerOnRoll> record present 
  • Explanation: Have you had any Students leave the School in the census collection period? You can check this via Students>Search filters>Status>Leaver

To check this error go to Students>then open the top right Search Filters and change the Status to Leaver

In the example below we have also added an additional column called Leaving Date.

IMPORTANT in order for the resolved error/query to be removed from the list of errors/queries you would need to generate a new Census return and remember to use save & validate for the errors/queries to update/clear.
