Use this guide to resolve School Census Errors 2002 & 2112

Error 2002:

• DfE Validation: <NCyearActual> must be in the range of <LowestNCyear> and <HighestNCyear>
• Explanation: Go to Groups>Group Type = Year Group>Select them>View>Additional Group Details and check that the NC Year Group drop down is in the range set in Config>Administration>Characteristics>NC range then Save.

Error 2112:

• DfE Validation: Where both <HighestNCyear> and <LowestNCyear> equal ‘X’, <NCyearActual> must equal ‘X’
• Explanation: Go to Groups>Group Type = Year Group>Select them>View>Additional Group Details and check that the NC Year Group drop down = X>Save

Go to Groups>Group Type =Year Group>Select>View

Then in the Additional Details panel check the NC Year Group is in the NC range set in Config>Administration>Characteristics.

Click Save if you make any amendments.

IMPORTANT: order for the resolved error/query to be removed from the list of errors/queries you would need to generate a new Census return and remember to use save & validate for the errors/queries to update/clear.
