In this guide, we show How to Configure BACS Settings within the Finance Module.
Access: The minimum permissions required to Configure BACS Settings are found in the Finance Module section of Config > Setup > Roles & Permissions.

To begin, go to Modules > Finance > Finance Home Page > Maintenance > BACS Configuration.
The BACS Configuration page has 4 sections:
4. Send Remittance Advice PDF via Email
When making any changes, don’t forget to click Save at the top left of the page.
To check what a BACS Remittance Email looks like, click Send Test Email. An example Email using the parameters entered is sent from the Return Email Address and to the BCC Email Address entered in Send Remittance Advice PDF via Email.
1. BACS Settings
If entering an ID Code then the Days Kept field is unlocked, as are the Mask Bank Account and Keep Audit tick boxes.
When making any changes, don’t forget to click Save at the top left of the page.
2. BACS Payment Limit
If required, enter a BACS Payment Limit here. The amount is the Total Value of a BACS Run, in line with limits set by the School’s Bank.

3. Print Remittance Advice
If choosing to Print Remittance Advice, there is the option for the system to take into account Plain Stationery or Pre-printed Stationery.

4. Send Remittance Advice PDF via Email
This provides the option to Send Remittance Advice PDF via Email. A Return Email Address and BCC Email Address can be entered, as can the Subject and Body text of the Email.
