How to Create a Missing Photo Report in Quick Reports

In this guide we will go through the process of creating a Quick Report to list any Students who do not have a Photo in Bromcom.

Access: The minimum permissions required to access Quick Reports can be found in the Reporting module from within Config > Setup > Roles and Permissions.

In order to create this report you will need additional permissions which can be found by clicking the Report Design Permissions button and selecting People-Students from the drop down and selecting at least Students, Personal Information and Names and Photos.

To build the Report go to Reports > AdHoc > Quick Reports (If you have recently joined Bromcom this may be Reports > Quick Reports > Quick Report)

Pathway

Select Students from the drop down at the top.

In the Data Items menu on the left, select Personal Information by clicking the arrow to the right hand side of it.

In the pop-up that appears, expand Names and Photo by clicking on the arrow to the left, then select Photo using the tick box to the left, as well as any other personal identifiers you would like to include and once you’re happy click Add.

This will add all selected fields to the Report Preview window.

You can then use the menu to the left to continue adding any other required Data Items. Once you’re happy with the contents of your report, select Personal Information again, in the pop-up, select Filters across the top and then click Add Filter.

In the dropdown that appears, expand Names and Photo and select Person Has Photo.

Choose Filter

In the Operations section, select Equals from the drop down, and then use the radio buttons to select No. Then click Add. This will filter the Report to show only those Students who do not have photos.

Once you’re happy with the report click Save in the top left hand corner.

Enter a Report Title, select the Folder you would like the Report to be saved in (make a note of this in case you need to Run the report again at a later date) and click Save.

Next, click Run.

Run

This will display a Report Preview and you can use the Export Report button at the top of the page to download a copy.
