This guide will show you how to create a new Year Group, including creating a M Mixed Year Group for use in Mixed/Vertical Tutor Groups.
Note: If you wish to Remove or Deactivate a Year Group on Bromcom then you need to contact Bromcom Support if you would like to deactivate this Year Group.
Access: The minimum permissions required to access Groups are found in the Framework Module of Config>Setup>Roles & Permissions.

Go to Groups > Group Type > Year Group.

Click New to start a new group setup.

Ensure the Start Date aligns with the Academic Year.
Make sure the NC Year Group & the Next Year Group fields are completed and correctly assigned. In the example shown above, Year Group 10 is correctly showing NC Year Group 10 and the Next Year Group shows 11. If adjustments are needed, update the Year Group accordingly.
