Attendance for Part Time Students in Registers
There are two main methods schools can use:
Option 1: Use Group Exceptions
This allows you to create Student Exceptions within a Tutor Group for the sessions a student does not attend. This prevents a mark being required for those sessions.
See How to use Group Exceptions
Option 2: Use Bulk Attendance to Apply X Marks (Recommended)
Most schools prefer this method. You can apply an X mark (Cancelled/Non-compulsory) for the sessions a student is not expected to attend. This keeps the student in the register but excludes those sessions from attendance calculations.See How to use Bulk Attendance Update
