How to Manage the School Page for MyChildAtSchool

Note: All pages below are subject to having relevant Roles and Permissions.

MCAS Administrators can use this function to design a School Page that is visible for Parents on MyChildAtSchool under the User Profile Account dropdown menu. This page can be used to for example direct parents to a website via a hyperlink.

From Config select MyChildAtSchool and click on School Page.

School Page provides a Page Editor where the tools can be used to completely customise the appearance of the page.

First choose whether to Show the School Page in MyChildAtSchool.

Use the Page Editor tools to add text, insert a table or a hyperlink with tools to format the view. In the example below a hyperlink for the School Website has been added , when selected from within MyChildAtSchool this will take the parent to the School Website.

Once you have finished click Save.

The School Page is visible as a dropdown on the users account on the MyChildAtSchool Dashboard.

    In this help item please could you start by explaining the purpose of the school page in MCAS. I’d assumed it was the landing page after login but reading this sentence “Ticking the Show the School Page box will display the option on the Parent Portal under the User Profile Account dropdown menu” makes me think it’s just an about our school type page?
