This page will show you how to Request a Trip and Approve a Trip.

Requesting a Trip
Click on your Image top right and from the dropdown list select My Profile.
From the left Menu select Trips, if the option has not been enabled this will not be displayed. Here will will see your Trip Requests and their Status.
Click on the + icon top right to Request a Trip this will open the Create Trip Request window.
Enter the Request Details:
- Trip Name – Name of Trip
- UK Trip or Trip Abroad – Use toggle to select
- Start Date – Start of Trip
- End Date – End of Trip
- Trip Description – Free Text
- Linked Groups – Select using the Group Selector by clicking on the Magnifying Glass icon or leave blank to open the Trip to all Students, selected Groups will be displayed
- Note – Free Text
- Upload Document – Information about the Trip can be uploaded
When finished click the Save button, a Confirmation Message will be given.
A Notification will also be sent.
Click to View the Message.
This will take you to the Requests section of your My Profile page, with the Sent tab selected. The Request can be viewed at anytime from your My Profile page.
As this Request needs Approval, it displays the Name of the person Approving and the current Status. If the Request needs to be Approved by more than one person each will be listed.
Approving a Trip
When a Trip Request needs Approval a Message will be sent to the people who have to Approve the Trip. There will also be a Notification in their My Profile list.
Click to View the Message.
This will take you to the Requests section of your My Profile page, with the Inbox tab selected. The Request can be viewed at anytime from your My Profile page.
Here you can add a Comment, clicking the Post button will add the Comment below then Approve or Reject the Trip.
Once Approved or Rejected the Request will be moved out of your Inbox tab and into your Completed tab, where it can be viewed.
Checking your Status
When your Request has been actioned you will receive a Notification.
Click to View the Message.
This will take you to the Requests section of your My Profile page, with the Sent tab selected. The Request can be viewed at anytime from your My Profile page.
The Trips Requests page will display the updated Status for the Trips.
An email will also be sent to all parties as each part of the Request is actioned.
Note: Once the Trip has been Approved the Trip Co-Ordinator will receive an email so they can Process the Trip.
