Note: all pages subject to having relevant Roles and Permissions.
The Core Details page allows you to update your School’s key information and add the School Logo.
The Core Details are needed for areas such as:
- Census – the School Information will be used to populate the required Census fields
- Reports – if you want to do a web merge for example, including the School Name or Phone Number, this is where that information is stored and updated
- Home Page – at the top of your Homepage you will see your School Name with a small arrow next to it – this is populated with the School Information from this page
- Logo – this appears in a number of different areas, in the system itself and on the top of reports for example
From the left Menu go to Config > Administration > Core details.
School Details Area
School Details is on the left and from here you can update the key details.
The non-editable information at the top is your establishment information. Generally this will have been migrated from your previous MIS and you can update this under Config > Administration > Schools
The rest of the information is described below:
- School Name* – How the school name appears on the system, in Reports and Census – this field must be completed for Census
- Telephone No* – How the School Telephone Number appears in Reports for example – this field must be completed for Census it also appears under the School Name on the bar at the top of the Home page
- Email – This is for the Census but it is not a mandatory field, it also appears under the School Name on the bar at the top of your Bromcom Page
- Website: This appears under the School Name on the bar at the top of your Bromcom Page
- Title for Head* – This may be Principal or Headteacher for example
- Name of Head – Please type Surname first then select the member of Staff you are looking for, you can only select one member of Staff
- Title for Deputy Head: This may be Vice Principal or Deputy Headteacher for example
- Name of Deputy Head: Please type Surname first then select the member of Staff you are looking for, you can have more than one Deputy
- Part of Multi Academy Trust: This box is for use in MAT Vision
School Logo
On the right you’ll see the School Logo area.
Click Browse to search your local device for a Logo. There are no resolutions specified for the Logo.
Click on the Arrow to the right of the School Name to view School Details.
