In this guide we’ll look at how you can record Classwork Observations in the new Teacher App.
The Teacher App is designed to help Teachers complete their day to day tasks, on the go, quickly and easily and is free to download from the App Store for iPhones or Google Play Store for other devices.
Note: This function will only be available to Primary phase Schools.
This will display a list of Classwork Observations with the most recently recorded Classwork Observation at the top.
You can click in to any of the previous Classwork Observations to see further detail for the selected Student.
To add a new Classwork Observation, click the + icon in the top left hand corner of the Classwork Observations landing screen.
You’ll then be presented with a list of available Assessment Types click on to the required Assessment Type .
In the Observation entry screen, first select the Statement or Statements you would like to record an Observation against by clicking in the to Statement List dropdown.
Select the Statement(s) using the radio buttons on the left and then click Confirm.
Next, click in to the Students field and select the Student or Students from the drop down. You can use the Search bar to refine the list if necessary. Select the Student using the tick boxes on the left then click Confirm.
Next, add your comments in the Observation box. You also have the option to add attachments from your device by clicking Add Media and selecting the file to be attached. Once you’re happy click Save.
