In this guide we’ll look at how you can use the My Account area of the new Teacher App to Switch Accounts, manage your Notification Settings, and your Pin and Biometrics Settings.
The Teacher App is designed to help Teachers complete their day to day tasks, on the go, quickly and easily and is free to download from the App Store for iPhones or Google Play Store for other devices.
To access the My Account area, select My Account in the toolbar at the bottom of the app.
Switching Accounts
At the top of the My Account page, you’ll see the Account you are currently logged in to. To log in to a different account, click Switch.
This will open a list of any Accounts that you have logged in to on this account. You can select the Account you would like to Switch into using the tick boxes on the left, then click Confirm to Switch. Alternatively, if the Account you would like to log in to is not listed, you can click Add Account and you will be asked to log in.
Notification Settings
From the My Account screen, click Notifications.
Here, you can choose whether or not you would like to receive Push Notifications from Teacher App on this device using the Toggle.
Once you’re happy you can leave the page as it will save automatically.
PIN and Biometrics Settings
From the My Account screen, select Pin and Biometric Settings.
On this page you have the option to change your PIN by clicking on Change Pin. You’ll be asked to confirm your current PIN and then choose a new one.
You also have the option to choose whether or not to use Biometric Authentication using the toggle.
Once you’re happy you can leave the page as it will save automatically.
