In this guide, we are going to list some of the most popular built in Attendance Reports that will help you carry out a number of Attendance related tasks and provide you with various options for obtaining Student Attendance data in Bromcom.

For example, to access the Official Register Report go to Reports>Attendance>Individual>Attendance Certificate Report or to look for Missing Marks when running a Census go to Reports>Attendance>Attendance Analysis Exports>Missing Marks
Access: The minimum permissions required to access the Attendance Reports are found in the Attendance Module of Config>Setup>Roles & Permissions.

All of the Reports discussed here can be found by going to Reports > Attendance.

Absentee List
This Daily report provides a list of Absentees for a single date. Go to Reports>Attendance>Daily>Absentee List.

The Threshold Absence can be used to further filter for example if 3 is chosen and and List of Absence is set to All with Absents then it will show all the students who have been marked as Unauthorised Absent 3 times on the chosen date.

Tip: note the drop down choices on List Of Absence

Once you’ve made your selections in the Report Parameters click Preview.

Attendance Certificate
This report provides a detailed Attendance Certificate within a chosen date range for each Student selected. Go to Reports > Attendance > Individual > Attendance Certificate Report

Once you’ve made your selections in the Report Parameters click Preview.
Commented Attendance
This report provides a list of all Students with Attendance Comments for the chosen date range.. Go to Reports > Attendance > Audit > Commented Attendance

Once you’ve made your selections in the Report Parameters click Preview.
AM PM Traditional Attendance
This report provides a list of Students AM/PM attendance for a weekly date range. Go to Reports>Attendance>Weekly>Traditional AM/PM
- Selected the required Group and define the Term/Week Start and End Dates
- Treat Educational Activity as Present is ticked by default,
- Tick to Show Year Group if required

Once you’ve made your selections in the Report Parameters click Preview.

Attendance History
This report provides a list of Students and a breakdown of their Attendance for the chosen date range. Go to Reports > Attendance> Summary > Attendance History

Once you’ve made your selections in the Report Parameters click Preview.

Attendance by Code or Meaning
Go to Reports>Attendance>Attendance Code Analysis>Attendance Report by Code/Meaning
Choose the required Group, Day Start and Day End. In Report By choose either Code or Meaning (you can control and click to choose more then one Code or Meaning)
Chose your parameters in Include and Sort By and tick if you want a Detailed Breakdown, Display Attendance Mark or Page Break by Tutor Group

Once you’ve made your selections in the Report Parameters click Preview.
In the example below Display Attendance Mark has been ticked

In the example below the L mark has been selected and Display Attendance Mark has NOT been ticked.

Analysis Exports
Use this Analysis Export to create a Student List of Missing Marks, this can be particularly useful when running a School Census.
Go to Reports>Attendance>Summary>Attendance Analysis Exports and choose Missing AM or PM Marks and define the required Day Start and Day End dates.
You can choose the file format to be either Csv or Html from the as drop down.
Click Export.

The Export will then show in red in Export File History.

Click on the file to open the Export which will have been downloaded locally to your computer.

Student Attendance
This Individual report can be used in the example you have a meeting with a parent regarding a Students attendance, the report has the option to be published to MCAS and/or emailed to the parent as well as the ability to print or export the report.
Go to Reports>Attendance>Individual>Student Attendance.

Once you’ve made your selections in the Report Parameters click Preview.

Punctuality Report
Use this report to look for Students with a defined Attendance % Threshold and a defined number of lates, for example students with more than 80% attendance and no lates.
Go to Reports>Attendance>Summary>Attendance Analysis Exports and choose Punctuality Report.

Once you’ve made your selections in the Report Parameters click Preview.

Blank Register
This report provides Blank copies of registers for selected Groups, this could be used to keep hard copies of registers. go to Reports > Attendance > Attendance > Blank Registers

Once you’ve made your selections in the Report Parameters click Preview.
Register Audit
This report provides you with an Audit of changes made to a Student or Group’s Attendance, identifying the user that made the changes and when.
Reports > Attendance > Audit > Register Audit

Once you’ve made your selections in the Report Parameters click Preview.
