Use this guide to resolve School Census Errors 110 & 160

Error 110

• DfE validation: <SchoolName> must be present
• Explanation: To check your School Name is correct go to Config>Administration>Core Details>School Details> check the details are correct and click Save.

Error 160:

• DfE validation <URN> must be present and a valid value
• Explanation: to check your School URN ( Unique Reference Number) is correct go to Config>Administration>Core Details>School Details >Check the details are correct and click Save

Tip: In general your School Name or Establishment Name as it appears in School Details plus your URN ( Unique Ref. No) will have been migrated from your previous MIS however, to change any of the 6 pieces of information at the top of the School Details panel see How to to update School Details and Logo

Once you have updated this information this will show in the School Details panel in Config>Administration>Core Details.

To resolve this query you can either go to Config>Administration>Core Details

School Details

Check the School Details are correct for your school. Remember to click Save if you make any amendments.

OR you can also access the School Details panel from within the Census screen when you create a Census return and then click Edit

Both these pathways will take you to the Core Details panel in your MIS.

If you do edit any School Details from within the Census panel remember to click the top right Refresh button to show any changes.

IMPORTANT : in order for the resolved error/query to be removed from the list of errors/queries you would need to generate a new Census return and remember to use save & validate for the errors/queries to update/clear.
