Use this guide to resolve School Census Error 1862

SPRING CENSUS ONLY

DfE Validation:

• NEITHER <EYPPR> OR <EYPPBF> should be provided for pupils born between 2019-01-01 and 2019-08-31 (inclusive) AND <NCyearActual> not equal to ‘E1’, ‘E2’, ‘N1’ or ‘N2’
• Early years pupil premium not required for pupils aged 4 in reception or above

Explanation:

• If a Student is aged 4 AND in year group reception or above then they should not be marked as Early Years Pupil Premium.
• Pupils aged 4 at the start of the academic year in reception and above are eligible to receive the school age pupil premium and therefore are not eligible to receive early years pupil premium funding.

To view/amend Early Years Pupil Premium in the Student record go to Students>Student Profile>Funding & Allowances.

Then in the Funding & Allowances panel click the top right + symbol to Add, Edit or Delete Funding & Allowances Details. Click on Early Years Pupil Premium.

In the Early Years Pupil Premium tab you can use the right hand pencil or delete icon as required.

IMPORTANT in order for the resolved error/query to be removed from the list of errors/queries you would need to generate a new Census return and remember to use save & validate for the errors/queries to update/clear.
