Use this guide to resolve School Census Error 2295
Error 2295:
- DfE Validation: <LeavingDate> must not be the same as exclusion <StartDate>. Due to the appeal process the pupil should not be removed off roll on the same day they are excluded
- Explanation: For off roll Students go to Students>Student Profile>Behaviour>Exclusions> and select the Exclusion. The start date for the Exclusion must not be the same as the Leaving Date in Student Profile>Enrolment>School History.

In the Student Profile click on the left hand Behaviour tab and from the top right drop down select Exclusions.
Double click on the Exclusion Record
Check the Exclusion Start Date* field.
Save & Close.
IMPORTANT in order for the resolved error/query to be removed from the list of errors/queries you would need to generate a new Census return and remember to use save & validate for the errors/queries to update/clear.
