Use this guide to resolve School Census Error 2350 & 2400
Error 2350:
- DfE Validation: <AddressLine1> or <PAON> must be present. Insufficient address information provided.
- Explanation: Go Students>Student Profile>Edit Student Contact Details>Address>Select record and ensure the 1st line of the Address is present>Save.
- Tip: the address needs to be valid as of Census Date
Error 2400:
- DfE Validation: If <AddressLine1> present, one of <AddressLine2>, <AddressLine3>, <AddressLine4> or <AddressLine5>must be present. Where address line 1 is present, at least one other address line must also be present.
- Explanation: Go Students>Student Profile>Edit Student Contact Details>Address>Select record and ensure that if the 1st line of the Address is present then at least one other address line must be completed for example Locality or Town must be completed.
- Tip: the address needs to be valid as of Census Date.

Go to Students>Students Profile>Edit Student Contact Details
Click on the Address tab, then click the pencil icon to the right of the Address record.
Then check the Address information is correct. Save
IMPORTANT in order for the resolved error/query to be removed from the list of errors/queries you would need to generate a new Census return and remember to use save & validate for the errors/queries to update/clear.
