Use this guide to resolve School Census Error 2370

Error 2370:

• DfE Validation: <EntryDate> must be present and between the range of pupil <EntryDate> at the school and <ReferenceDate> The pupils entry date is invalid for a school arranged alternative provision (AP) placement
• Explanation: Go to Students>Student Profile>Enrolment>Alternative Provision Details>Select Record, the Date of Entry into Alternative Provision must be between the date the Student came on roll at your school and Census day.

Go to Students>Students Profile>Enrolment>Alternative Provision Details

In the Add Alternative Provision Details pop up check the Date of Entry to Alternative Provision.

Click Save if you make any amendments.

IMPORTANT in order for the resolved error/query to be removed from the list of errors/queries you would need to generate a new Census return and remember to use save & validate for the errors/queries to update/clear.
