Use this guide to resolve School Census Error 2795

Error 2795:

DfE Validation:

• If Pupil No Longer on Roll, the <LearningAimStatus> must be equal to ‘2’, ‘3’ or ‘4’ 
• For pupils no longer on roll the learning aim status must be ‘2’ (completed), ‘3’ (withdrawn) or ‘4’ (transferred) 

Explanation:

• If a Student is no longer on roll then go to Students>Search Filters>Status = Leaver> View Student Profile>Enrolment>Programme and Learning Aims>Select Learning Aim>Edit. The Learning Aim Status must be either Completed, Withdrawn or Transferred>Save.
• If the Learning Aim isn’t linked to a Programme Aim choose Learning Aim in the Enrolment tab in the Student Profile.

In the example below the Learning Aim is linked to a Programme Aim, if its not choose Learning Aims in Enrolment

Go to Students>View Student Profile>Enrolment>Programme and Learning Aims

Click the pencil icon to the right of the Learning Aim you wish to view/edit

Check that the Status is set to either Completed, Withdrawn or Transferred.

The Withdrawal Reason drop down only becomes visible if the Status is set to Withdrawn.

Click Save if you make any amendments.

IMPORTANT in order for the resolved error/query to be removed from the list of errors/queries you would need to generate a new Census return and remember to use save & validate for the errors/queries to update/clear.
