Use this guide to resolve School Census Error 3131
Error 3131:
- DfE Validation: Where pupil <EnrolStatus> equals ‘C’, ‘F or ‘O’, <APProvisionDetail> node must be present
- Explanation: If your School Type is PR i.e. either a Pupil Referral Unit or an Alternative Provision Unit then All Students who have the Enrolment Status C,F or O ( see below for Enrolment Status codes) must have Alternative Provision Details present in their Student Profile.
- To add Alternative Provision details go to Students>Student Profile>Enrolment>Alternative Provision Details to add the Alternative Provision information.

Go to Students>Students Profile>Enrolment>Alternative Provision Details
In the Add Alternative Provision Details add the required information.
IMPORTANT in order for the resolved error/query to be removed from the list of errors/queries you would need to generate a new Census return and remember to use save & validate for the errors/queries to update/clear.
