DfE Validation:
- Where<NCyearActual> equals ‘E1’, ‘E2’, ‘N1’ or ‘N2’ <TypeOfClass> if present, must equal ‘N’. Where <NCyearActual> does not equal ‘E1’, ‘E2’, ‘N1’ or ‘N2’ <TypeOfClass> if present, must not equal ‘N’.
- Please check: pupil’s class type and year group incompatible
Explanation:
- Please check the Year Group and Year Group membership for the Students identified, this query may appear where Students are in multiple year groups over the academic year.
- To check Year Group go to Groups>Group Type = Year Group> Click on Year Group>View>Additional Group Details> check NC Year Group is correct>Save
- To check Student Year Group Membership go to Students>View>Student Profile>Enrolment<Year Group>Membership.
- Run system refresh from Config>System Configurations>Refresh Student Cache

To check Year Groups go to Groups>Group Type = Year Group>Click on Year Group>View
In the Additional Group Details panel check that the NC Year Group drop down is correct
Then click Save.
To check the Student Year Group membership go to Students>View>Student Profile>Enrolment>Year Group Membership
To check Student Year Group Membership go to Students>View>Student Profile>Enrolment<Year Group>Membership.
IMPORTANT in order for the resolved error/query to be removed from the list of errors/queries you would need to generate a new Census return and remember to use save & validate for the errors/queries to update/clear.
