Use this guide to resolve School Census Query 4007Q
DfE Validation:
- Where count of on roll pupils in <NCyearActual> 1-11 or aged 5-15 as at 2026-08-31 (DOB is between 2010-09-01 and 2021-08-31 inclusive) in <NCyearActual> ‘X’ is greater than zero, then at least one <LearnerFAM> node with <LearnFAMCode> equal to 01 should be present
- Please check: no pupils on roll are in receipt of National Tutoring Programme (NTP)
Explanation:
- This MAY be correct, and would be a return level note on Collect if no Students are in receipt of National Tutoring Programme
- If the count of Students on roll in Years Groups 1-11 OR for Students aged 5-15 as at 2026-08-31 and in Year Group X is more than zero then at least one Student is expected to be in receipt of National Tutoring Programme.
- To add Learner Monitoring ( National Tutoring Programme) to the Student record go to Students>Student Profile>Funding and Allowances>Learner Monitoring

To add Learner Monitoring ( National Tutoring Programme) to the Student record go to Students>Student Profile>Funding & Allowances.
Then click on the + icon in the Funding & Allowances panel and choose Learner Monitoring
Click on Click to Add New Learner Monitoring.
Complete the fields as required. Click Save.
IMPORTANT in order for the resolved error/query to be removed from the list of errors/queries you would need to generate a new Census return and remember to use save & validate for the errors/queries to update/clear.
