The Federated Governing Body Identifier can be obtained by contacting SMED2@gov.wales

Welsh Government School Phase validations;
Error 12608
- Federated Governing Body identifier must be in format F0000
Query 12609
- Check: Federated Governing Body identifier outside expected range. Should be a number lower than F0201
Explanation :
- Error 12608 & 12609 Check Federated Group ID via the following screen: Config>Administration>Characteristics

From the left menu go to Config>Administration>Characteristics
Use the drop downs and data entry fields in the School Characteristics panel to check/update the Federated Group ID is correct for your school.
All fields marked with an asterisk* must be completed in order to save the record. The drop down choices and visible fields may differ dependant on your School Characteristics.
Remember to click the top left Save if you make any changes.
IMPORTANT in order for the resolved error/query to be removed from the list of errors/queries you would need to generate a new Census return and remember to use save & validate for the errors/queries to update/clear.
