Access: The permissions required to run and troubleshoot the Attendance Return are found in the Census Module of Config>Setup>Roles and Permissions. Each tick box on the right determines which functions are visible/available on the page for users with the selected Role.

Important Dates
Attendance Data is required for the period covering the 2025/26 Academic Year, specifically from 1st September 2025 up to and including 22nd May 2026.
Schools must submit their completed returns via the DEWi system no later than Friday 24th June 2026.
Known Issues
13.05.2026
- Summary report displays different date ranges to the specification (both one day out on the end date)
- New XSLT version 2526.3.4 to be applied which will update Rule 12904, include a new rule 13298, and fix an error in rule 12825.
Bromcom has not yet received the files for the new summary, however, Welsh Government are working on making these available as soon as possible.
