How to Take Club Attendance

This article looks at how to take Club Attendance in the following ways

Access: The minimum permissions required to take Club Attendance can be found in the Framework Module from with Config > Setup > Roles & Permissions.

From Groups

From Groups, change the Group Type dropdown to Clubs & Trips and select the required Club.

From the Actions dropdown select Attendance, this defaults to todays date.

Also use this drop down to View Club Attendance to run reports or print of Club Attendance. You can also use Quick Reports>Advanced Mode>Add Group Information to produce reports on Club Attendance. See How to Create a Quick Report

Actions>Attendance

Enter the Attendance Code against the Student Name for the required date and Save

From Teacher Dashboard in New UI

Clubs & Trips are visible in the Student List view class dropdown, which will allow Teachers to take the register for clubs and trips that they are assigned to.

Note: Clubs and trips registers can be taken out of school hours and out of term time.

In Student List view, after selecting the Club or Trip from the class dropdown list, users will be able to click on Take Register.

In the Club/Trip register screen Attendance Marks can be allocated in the usual way.

Note: The Weekly Attendance column is populated with the Club/Trip Attendance Marks. Attendance Marks column uses the same Marks used when taking a class register and can be found in the usual place Config > Attendance > Attendance Codes.

Teacher Dashboard > Timetable (new UI only)

Clubs & Trips have also been added to the Timetable view indicated by a pink dot, which will allow Teachers, that are assigned to a Club or Trip, to view the Clubs and Trips in the Timetable, select and take the register.

Note: Clubs and Trips registers do not appear in the Modules > Attendance > User Timetable page.
