In order to create Columns on a Tracking Template you need to create an Assessment Type, this is the type of data you wish to collect on the Assessment Sheet, for example, Predicted Grades, Current Grades, Targets, Mock Results etc.
You only need to create one Assessment Type for each type of Assessment Data you wish to collect. You don’t need to create one per Subject or per Year Group.
Access: The minimum permissions required to access Assessment Components can be found in the Assessment module from within Config > Setup > Roles & Permissions.

For example, if the Assessment Type will usually be recorded as a Grade but for Year 9 Science it will be recorded as an Integer you would add an Exception by selecting the options as per the following screenshot. (Note: In this example we have selected all Terms)
Once you’re happy click Create and the new Assessment Type will be available for use on Assessment Sheets.
