This guide will look at how parents can book Clubs, Trips and Wraparound care using the MCAS mobile app.
The example screenshots in this guide are for illustration purposes only and may differ from your view as these screens and any clubs or trips are configured by each school.
Clubs
Open the MCAS app and click the three lines in the top left corner to open the Main Menu, scroll down and select Clubs.
Select the Available tab at the top of the screen to see all the Clubs available to the Student.
Select the Club you would like to enrol the Student in, this will display information about the Club, including any instalment plans, and you will see different options for payment depending on how the club is configured.
Enrol Now – The Club is Free, Selecting this will enrol the student in the Club.
Add To Basket – The Club is paid in one lump sum, this will add the full amount for the Club to your Basket.
Add Deposit – The Club can be paid in instalments, this will add the amount for the deposit (which will be listed in the club information) to the Basket, once this is paid you will see the remaining instalments in the Outstanding Payments Section of the app.
Add Full Amount – The Club can be paid in instalments but you can also choose to pay the full amount in one payment, this will add the full amount for the club to your Basket.
Part-Pay – The Club has a fixed price but you are able to split this into smaller payments. If you select this option you will be prompted to enter the amount you would like to pay towards the club which will then be added to your Basket. The school can set a Minimum Payment amount, any selected payment amount will need to be above this.
Note: Once you have added the Club to your Basket via any of the methods above, the students place in the Club will be held for 5 minutes. If you do not check out within 5 minutes, the students place is no longer held and you will need to follow the above process to add the Club to your Basket again.
Select the Basket icon at the bottom of the screen
You will see a summary of any items added to your Basket and the time you have left to Checkout before the place can no longer be held. Click Checkout.
You will be prompted to enter your Payment Information. Once you are happy the information is correct click Confirm & Pay to secure the Students membership in the Club.
Trips
The process for booking a Student on to Trips is the same as the process for booking on to Clubs, however the school has the option to create Trips as a second category that you can select from the Main Menu. Select Trips and then follow the steps in the Clubs section of this guide.
Wraparound Care
Click the 3 lines in the top left to open the Main Menu and select Wraparound Care.
Select Available Wraparound Care at the top of the page.
Select the Wraparound Care Club you would like to enroll the student on, this will show information about the Wraparound Care Club and if you scroll to the bottom you will see a Calendar.
Days displayed in Blue are available to book, days displayed in Grey are unavailable. Select the days you would like to book the student onto and they will turn Green. Once you have selected all the days you need, click Proceed.
If this is the first time you are booking the student on to the Wraparound Care club, the balance will be 0 and you may be prompted to add money to the balance in order to continue with the booking. Click Top up.
You will then be taken to the payment screen to select the amount to top up and enter your Payment Information. Once you are happy that the information is correct, click Confirm & Pay and you will be brought back to the booking screen for the Wraparound Care Club. Check that the correct days are selected in the Calendar and click Proceed.
Once you have enrolled the student into the Wraparound Care Club for the first time, it will then appear in the Enrolled Wraparound Care section, and you can access the Calendar to book further sessions by clicking the Magnifying Glass.
