In this guide, we will cover the different options available for configuring Homework so it is visible/accessible on MCAS.

From the left Menu go to Config > MyChildAtSchool > Homework.

The Configuration area is where all the Widgets and Menu options are setup for the Parent Portal view of MCAS.

• Enable Homework Module – choose whether it will be Enabled or not, Enabled will display the Widget on the Parent Portal
• Homework Module Title – choose the Title for the module
• Homework Module Subtitle – choose the Subtitle for the module

There are 3 options available Homework (via Behaviour Module) and Homework (Extended) and Office365/Google Assignments.

Homework (via Behaviour Module)

Homework (Via Behaviour Module) should be selected if the Homework option has been created using the Behaviour module.

Homework (Extended)

Homework (Extended) should be selected if the Homework option has been created using the Student Portal module.

The options with Tick boxes are only displayed if they are ticked and the Displayed Name can be changed where the field is available.

The Homework Status Types and can also be renamed and the colours changed.

Office365/Google

This option should be selected if using with Office365 or Google Integration.

Note: For this option to be displayed Office365 or Google Integration has to be enabled under Config > Setup > Google Integration or Config Setup Office365 Integration. Click here for Office365 and Google Integration Guides.

When finished click on the Save button.
