- Description – This can be up to 30 characters in length

- End Date – The End Date (if required) the Event Type will no longer be active
When finished, click the Create button.
The Event Type has now been created and is available for use.
Expire an Event Type
To Expire an Event Type that is no longer being used.
From the left Menu go to Config > Behaviour > Event Types.
Double click the Event Type you no longer wish to use.
In the Edit Event Types, enter an End Date and press Save.
The Event Type will not be visible when logging Events against a Student from that End Date onwards.
Note: The Event Type will still be available to report on, with any historical data. So it has not been deleted, it has been made unavailable to use moving forward.
Access: The minimum permissions required to Create and Delete an Event Type are found in the Behaviour Module of Config > Setup > Roles & Permissions.
