How to Create an Event Alert

Note: All pages below are subject to having relevant Roles and Permissions.

The Event Alert tool allows you to configure an Alert that will be automatically sent to a specific Member of Staff upon the occurrence of a Student receiving a Behaviour Event.

You also have the option to Send an Event Notification Alert from My Account > Send Alert. This is not automated, all PC’s need to have the Alert Notification Software installed for the Alerts to be received. This process could be used in the example an Event has been logged against a Student and the member of Staff needs assistance to be sent to a specific room.

It could be useful to at the start provide explanation why you might choose event alert over the similar process of referral mail schedule – what are the key differences between the two.
    Thank you
