This guide will show you how to distribute User Defined Panels in Vision to connected schools in the Trust.

Vision > Central > User Defined Panels
Select one or more User Defined Panel using the check boxes and click Distribute to complete the two step wizard.
Note: The table is sorted by Panel Name.
Step 1: Select the destination school(s).
Step 2: Click on Submit. Select Proceed to confirm, or Cancel to return to the popup.
Click on the View Summary button to see the Status of the distribution.
If the User Defined Panel is already present in the school the Status will show Skipped and the User Define Panel will not be distributed.
Note: If the Permitted Roles for the User Defined Panel are not present in the MIS school, the User Defined Panel will be created with an Admin role.
Tip: The column MIS Count (count of User Defined Panels distributed to MIS Schools) can be switched on using the toggle to display the MIS Count column.
Clicking on the MIS Count number opens a popup displaying the list of schools within the Trust and details of the distribution. From here users can Distribute User Defined Panels to the MIS schools where the User Defined Panel has not been found, by following the two step wizard.
How to view distributed User Defined Panels in the MIS school
Config > Administration > User Defined Panels
MIS schools will see the distributed User Defined Panels in here, assigned to the Permitted Roles.
Note: If the User Defined Panel is Locked then the school cannot edit and itwill be read only.
Vision > Admin > Roles
The Central – User Defined Panels permission will have to be allocated to the User Roles.
