In this guide, we will show you how to complete the Bank Reconciliation in the MAT Finance Module.
Access: To carry out this task, you will need the following minimum permissions within the Finance Module of Config>Setup>Roles & Permissions.
From the left Menu, go to Finance>Routines>Bank Reconciliation.
Select the Bank you wish to Reconcile from the Bank dropdown.
This will bring up all previous statements for that Bank Account.
Select Add Statement.
This will automatically allocate the Statement Number to the next available number in the sequence.
Input the Closing Balance from the statement.
All outstanding transactions will be shown ready for reconciling against the statement.
To select the matching items, simply tick the transactions required for the allocation. Once this is all complete, the Closing Balance and the Running Balance should match.
Once you have reconciled everything, press Save & Refresh.
You will receive a notification that the Bank Statement has been saved successfully. This concludes the process.
