How to record Behaviour on the new Teacher Dashboard

This guide will show you how to Record a Behaviour Event and a Group Behaviour in the new Teacher Dashboard.

Access: Any staff member with a Class or Tutor Group assigned to them, with Timetabled Sessions will be able to access the Teacher Dashboard from their Home screen.

Add a Behaviour Event for an Individual

From the Student List of the Teacher Dashboard, Select the Student you would like to record a Behaviour Event for using the tick box to the left of the student. Then click Behaviour at the top of the screen. This will open the Behaviour Entry pop-up.

Enter all the details as required, and click Submit & Close.

Depending on the configuration of the Event you have selected, you may see the following message, if you would like to set a detention click Set Detention and Proceed, if you would like to skip this, click Proceed to save the Behaviour Event.

Add a Group Behaviour

To add a Group Behaviour from the Student List of the Teacher Dashboard, select the drop down next to the Behaviour button and select Record Group Behaviour.

This will open the Record Group Behaviour page which will populate with all the Students in the class. Select Add/Remove in the top left hand corner.

In the pop-up that appears, use the Positive Events and Negative Events drop down to select which Behaviour Events you would like to add to the group. Once you’re happy click Save.

This will add the selected Behaviour Events to the table, use the tick boxes to select which Students you would like to assign the selected Event to, to select all the students use the tick box at the top of the column. You also have the option to add Comments using the Speech Bubble icons.

Once you’re happy click Save in the top left. This will assign the Behaviour Event to all selected students.
