In this guide we show How to Configure the Equipment Register.
Access: The minimum permissions required to Configure the Equipment Register are found in the Finance Module section Config > Setup > Roles & Permissions.

To begin, go to Modules > Finance > Finance Home Page > Maintenance > Equipment Register Configuration
Four configuration groups are shown:
Category Types
Clicking on Add enables the addition of a new Category Type. Add a Short Code and a Description, then click Save.
Clicking on View/Edit enables the viewing and editing of an existing Category Type. If needed, make any required changes, then click Save.
Clicking on Delete enables the deletion the selected Category Type. If happy to proceed, click Yes on the warning pop-up.
Inspection Types
Clicking on Add enables the addition of a new Inspection Type. Add a Short Code and a Description, then click Save.
Clicking on View/Edit enables the viewing and editing of an existing Inspection Type. If needed, make any required changes, then click Save.
Clicking on Delete enables the deletion the selected Category Type. If happy to proceed, click Yes on the warning pop-up.
Disposal Types
Clicking on Add enables the addition of a new Disposal Type. Add a Short Code and a Description, then click Save.
Clicking on View/Edit enables the viewing and editing of an existing Disposal Type. If needed, make any required changes, then click Save.
Clicking on Delete enables the deletion the selected Disposal Type. If happy to proceed, click Yes on the warning pop-up.
Insurance
Clicking on Add enables the addition of a new Insurance Policy. Complete the information, then click Save.
Clicking on View/Edit enables the viewing and editing of an existing Insurance Policy. If needed, make any required changes, then click Save.
Clicking on Delete enables the deletion the selected Insurance Policy. If happy to proceed, click Yes on the warning pop-up.
