How to Add a Supplier

In this guide, we will show you how to add a Supplier within the Finance Module.

Access: The minimum permissions required to add a Supplier are found in the Finance Module of Config>Setup>Roles & Permissions.

Pre-requisites: The Finance Module has the option for the system to generate the Supplier Code or for the user to manually enter their chosen Supplier Code. If you require a system generated Supplier Code you will first need to add a Supplier Code Book, see How to Create a Supplier Code Book

To begin, go to Module>Finance>Suppliers.

From the Supplier home page, click +New.

As a minimum requirement, you will need to enter the Supplier Name, Supplier Code, Credit Limit and Credit Terms.

Once the details have been entered, click Save.

If you wish to send Purchase Orders by email, you must set the Order Method to Email PDF and enter an email address in the eOrdering email field.

If you wish to Send Remittance Advice Emails, you must enter an email address in the Remittance Advice Email field and tick the Send Remittance Advice Emails box.

If you wish to process Delivery Notes for this Supplier, you must tick the Process Delivery Notes for Supplier box.

From the Supplier page you can select the Tabs to enter Contact Details, Payment Details, Products and Catalogues and Documents.

Once any further changes have been made, press Save again to ensure the details are stored.
