In this guide, we show How to Configure and Check National Insurance Thresholds in the Finance Module.
Note: National Insurance Thresholds are pushed out by Bromcom. Schools do not normally need to adjust them.
Access: The minimum permissions required to Configure and Check National Insurance Thresholds are found in the Finance Module section Config > Setup > Roles & Permissions.

To begin, go to Modules > Finance > Finance Home Page > Maintenance > NI Thresholds.
The National Insurance Thresholds page shows, on the left, current and previous Start Dates and on the right, the NIC Bands applicable from that Start Date.
Click Add to Add new values.
Choose the Start Date for the new values to apply from. Click Save.
Enter the new NIC Bands, then click Save.
