System administrators can use this guide or watch a short video on how to set whether users are able to switch between the old and the new user interface or force them to use the new user interface for the New Teachers Dashboard
The Teacher Dashboard view is derived from the Associated Timetable for the Tutor Group or Teaching Class in Groups. See How to Edit a Tutor Group Timetable and How to Edit a Teaching Class
In addition for Teachers to be able to see the User Timetable to view and take registers for other Teachers they will need permissions within their role for Attendance>User Timetable. See How to Edit a Role and its Permissions.

To do this, navigate to Config > Setup > System Settings
By default the New UI Settings is set to Allow users to switch between new and old interface.
In the New UI Settings panel you can choose to either;
- Allow users to switch between new and old interface
- Force all users to use new interface
Click Save
In the example we allow users to switch between the old and new user interface if we return to the Lessons Dashboard we can see the New Interface toggle.
