This page shows you how to setup and view the Staff Absence Widget

From the left Menu go to Home > Overview.

On the Overview page click on the Settings options tick the Staff Absence Thresholds box and Save or Save & Close.

This will display ALL the other empty Widgets you have selected as well, when you have setup the Staff Absence Thresholds you can tick this box to hide the other Widgets again.

The Widget will now be displayed as a small Tile with no content.

Double click on the Tile and it will expand to show the Widget, with 3 icons, these are from left to right Config, Collapse and Refresh, click on the Config icon.

You can now set the Configurations with 5 option over a selected period of time.

You can select the number or Days or Instances in the number of Day(s), Week(s), Month(s) or Term(s). Then Show all staff members who have hit a threshold in the past number of Month(s) or Day(s). Click the X icon to remove the selected line. Click on the Select absence types to exclude from the threshold calculations box to see a list of Staff Absence Types, select the Absences you do NOT want to include in the calculations for the Widget. This will now display the number of Absence Types selected, move the mouse pointer over this to show what has been selected, when done Save.

If the criteria is met the Widget will display as a Tile with the information.

Double click to expand the Widget.

Click on a Member of Staff to see a breakdown.

  1. It would be helpful to be able to set thresholds for specific absence codes e.g. Sickness only. Is it possible to do this or are there any plans to add this functionality?
