The Ledger Enquiry page looks like this:

The Ledger Enquiry section at the top gives an overview of the selected Ledger(s). It details Expenditure, Income and Combine All Listed against the Current Budget, Commitments, Actuals, Central, and Remaining. To the right of the section is a small graphic illustrating % Spend/Recd. It also shows the Trial Balance in the bottom right of the section.

The Filters section on the left allows for the filtering of the Details section on the right.

In Filters on the left, clicking on All Ledger Groups expands the list. Unticking Include Ledgers with zero balances takes out all Ledgers with Zero Balances from the Details section.

If Filters on the left are applied, the colour of the bar in Ledger Enquiry changes from Blue to Orange and a description of the filter is added. The information contained in the Ledger Enquiry section and the Details section is changed to reflect the criteria selected in the filter(s). The filter can be cancelled by clicking Reset.

In the Details section, the columns can be sorted highest to lowest or lowest to highest by clicking on them. Usefully, the % Spend/Recd. column is colour-coded to reflect the percentage of Expenditure or Income measured against the Current Budget.
The Search feature is a quick and easy way to find specific information.
The table can be Copied, Printed, or Exported in the preferred file format by clicking on Grid actions.

A Period Summary can be shown by selecting a line and clicking on Show Periods.

Double clicking on a Ledger Code line, or selecting it and clicking on Actuals in the top left of the page, shows the Ledger Enquiry Details and the Transaction Listings.
Commitments can be viewed by selecting a Ledger Code line and clicking on Commitments in the top left of the page.

From the Ledger Enquiry Details page, the Journal that created the Transaction can be viewed by selecting the line and clicking on Journals.
Commitments associated with the Ledger can also be viewed by selecting the line and clicking on Commitments.

From the Journal pop up, clicking on Ledger directs back to the Ledger. Clicking on Action shows the action that caused the Journal to be created.

The Journal Browser can be viewed by clicking on Journal Browser in the Ledger Enquiry landing page.
