Use this guide to resolve School Census Error 2260

Error 2260:

• DfE Validation: For each termly exclusion or suspension, where more than one of <Reason1>, <Reason2> and <Reason3> exist, they must be unique
• Explanation: go to Students Profile>Behaviour>Exclusions and select the Exclusion. If the Exclusion has more than one reason each reason must be unique i.e. you cannot have the same reason twice in one Exclusion.

In the Student Profile click on the left hand Behaviour tab and from the top right drop down select Exclusions.

Double click on the Exclusion Record

In Add/Edit Exclusion if more than one Reason is recorded they must be different i.e. you cannot have the same Reason twice>Save

IMPORTANT in order for the resolved error/query to be removed from the list of errors/queries you would need to generate a new Census return and remember to use save & validate for the errors/queries to update/clear.
