Use this guide to resolve School Census Query 4017Q

AUTUMN RETURN ONLY

Error 4017Q:

DfE Validation:

• Where <LearnFAMHours> are present they must be in the range 1-9 
• Please check: Number of hours of tuition seem too high. Have previous term’s hours of tuition been included? Only the number of hours of tuition provided from the beginning of the autumn term to census day should be returned. Please either amend your data or provide a reason. 

Explanation:

• For the Students identified it is expected that for the Autumn Census the hours in Student Profile>Funding & Allowances>Learner Monitoring>September to October Census would be in the range 1-9 as only the number of hours tuition from the beginning of term to census day should be returned.
• If the error is due to the end date of the Learner Monitoring set to after 31/07/2023 please contact Bromcom Support.

Go to Students>View>Student Profile>Funding & Allowances

Then click on the Learner Monitoring record.

Check the September to October Census hours are correct.

Save.

IMPORTANT in order for the resolved error/query to be removed from the list of errors/queries you would need to generate a new Census return and remember to use save & validate for the errors/queries to update/clear.
