Use this guide to resolve School Census Error 3110

Error 3110:

DfE Validation:

• For all school phases, the following criteria for 3 year olds applies:
• <ThirtyHourCode> must only be present for 3 year olds where:
• [DOB is as follows:
  • Autumn:For pupils born between 2019-09-01 and 2020-08-31 (inclusive)
  • Spring:For pupils born between 2019-09-01 and 2020-12-31 (inclusive)
  • Summer:For pupils born between 2019-09-01 and 2021-03-31 (inclusive)]
• AND[<ExtendedHours> is present]

• For all school phases, the following criteria for 4 year olds applies:
• <ThirtyHourCode> must only be present for 4 year old where:
• [<NCyearActual> equals ‘E1’, ‘E2’, ‘N1’ or ‘N2’]AND [DOB is as follows:
  • Autumn:For pupils born between 2018-09-01 and 2019-08-31 (inclusive)
  • Spring:For pupils born between 2019-01-01 and 2019-08-31 (inclusive)
  • Summer:For pupils born between 2019-04-01 and 2019-08-31 (inclusive)]
• AND[<ExtendedHours> is present]
• A 30-hour code has been entered where pupil is not in the eligible age range or in year groups ‘E1’, ‘E2’, ‘N1’ or ‘N2’, or extended hours is missing

Explanation:

• A Thirty Hour Code should only be entered for Students in the above eligible date ranges applicable for each Census return OR in year groups E1, E2,N1, N2 and Extended Childcare Hours are present
• To remove a Thirty Hour Code entered in error go to Students>Student Profile>Funding & Allowances>Additional Information>Thirty Hour Code>Save
• If you need to amend the Extended Childcare Hours go to Modules>Census>Select Return>Edit>Pupil Reconciliation Panel>amend Extended Childcare Hours figure>Save & Validate

To remove a Thirty Hour Code entered in error go to Students>Student Profile>Funding & Allowances>Additional Information

Then click on the Additional Information you wish to view/remove

From here you can if required remove the Thirty Hour Code if it’s been entered in error.

Save.

IMPORTANT in order for the resolved error/query to be removed from the list of errors/queries you would need to generate a new Census return and remember to use save & validate for the errors/queries to update/clear.
