Use this guide to resolve School Census Errors 1580,1590,1600 & 1610

Error 1580:

• DfE Validation: Pupil with surname missing
• Explanation: please check the Student surname from Students>Student Profile>Edit Student Details>Legal Last Name>Save

Error 1590:

• DfE Validation: <Forename> must be present.
• Explanation: please check the Student forename from Students>Student Profile>Edit Student Details>Legal First Name >Save

Error 1600:

• DfE Validation: <DOB> must be present
• Explanation: please check the Student Date of Birth from Students>Student Profile>Edit Student Details>Date of Birth>Save

Error 1610:

• DfE Validation: <Sex> must be present and a valid value
• Explanation: please check the Student gender from Students>Student Profile>Edit Student Details>Gender>Save

THE EXAMPLES AND SCREENSHOTS IN THIS GUIDE ARE FOR ILLUSTRATION PURPOSES ONLY

For those Students identified go the Student Profile and click Edit Students Details to the right of the Student name

Then from within the Basic Details tab you can check/amend the Student Details as required.

Remember to click Save if you make any amendments.

IMPORTANT in order for the resolved error/query to be removed from the list of errors/queries you would need to generate a new Census return and remember to use save & validate for the errors/queries to update/clear.
