In this guide, we will cover how to troubleshoot the Spring 2023 Census Error 4040
The Young Carer Indicator in the Student Profile>Edit Student Details>Additional Details defaults to Not Declared. In the event of Error 4040 click save to re-save the Student Record.
Access: The permissions required to run and troubleshoot the Spring Census are found in the Census Module of Config>Setup>Roles and Permissions. Each tick box on the right determines which functions are visible/available on the page for users with the selected Role.
Error 4040 – Where ‘Young Carer Indicator must be present and a valid value’,
Go to Students>Profile>Edit Student Details
Choose Additional Details> Click Save even in the event the Young Carer Indicator drop down is undeclared.
