Use this guide to resolve School Census Query 2520Q
Query 2520Q:
- DfE Validation: Please check: sessions possible should not be greater than 150
- Autumn only:
- Where termly <SessionsPossible> plus second half of the summer term <SessionsPossible> present, should be less than 151
- Spring and Summer:
- Where <SessionsPossible> present, should be less than 151
- Explanation:
- In the example of the Spring 2024 Census the attendance collection periods are from 01/08/2023 and 31/12/2023 and it is expected that the sessions possible between these two dates should be less than 151.
- However, in the example you have a phased return where some of your Students return in August 2023 this will make your sessions possible more than 151.
- To check the sessions possible for Students go to Reports>Attendance>Attendance Certificate> Select Students and then define the date ranges defined in (Modules>Census>School>Select Return>Attendance collection) then click Preview in the Attendance Certificate Report.
- Your Academic Days define what days your are expecting your Students to be in school. Your can view/edit your Academic Days from Config>Curriculum>Academic Days. If you do need to edit your Academic Days see How to Edit Academic Days.
- If the sessions possible is correct then you would need to send a return level note with your Census
